    • Glycolic Acid

An AHA derived from sugar cane, with small molecular size, which allows it to penetrate the skin more effectively than other AHAs and has an exfoliating action that removes dead skin cells and enhances the skin’s absorption of subsequent treatments. In the Illumine Peel Lotion, glycolic acid delivers gentle exfoliation, smooth texture and a radiant, glowing complexion.

    • Lactic Acid

Lactic acid, a naturally occurring AHA found in milk, is incorporated in the Illumine Peel lotion for its gentle exfoliating, skin-brightening, and hydrating properties. Lactic acid in the Illumine Peel Lotion, helps remove dead skin cells while enhancing the skin's natural glow and maintaining moisture levels, leaving the skin smooth, refreshed, and radiant without feeling stripped or dry, making it ideal for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

    • Kojic Acid

Kojic acid, derived from plants like rice and soy, is renowned for its skin-brightening properties and its ability to inhibit melanin production, helping to reduce discoloration and promote a more even complexion. In the Illumine Peel Lotion, it targets uneven skin tone while its antioxidant benefits protect against environmental stress, leaving the skin clear, radiant, and glowing.

    FAQ

How does Illumine Moisturiser differ from other sunblocks?

The Illumine Moisturiser uniquely combines hydration, sun protection, and potent anti-pigmentation agents, offering a holistic approach to preventing pigmentation and skin ageing. This three-in-one action distinguishes it from typical sunblocks that provide only sun protection.

Is the Illumine Peel Lotion the same as the Revival Enzyme Pads?

The Illumine Peel Lotion formulation is improved with more added ingredients than Derma Enzyme Pads.

What was the reason for the change in formulation ?

Our old Derma Enzyme Pads were our all time best selling product with salons and clinics, however we have devised a more cost effective solution. The 30 enzyme pads are equivalent to 30 uses when compared to the Illumine Peel Lotion which gives 200 uses. We also increased the percentage of the Peel Lotion from 7% to 15% in  the Illumine Peel Lotion and added brightening acids.

Will my skin peel after use?

No, there is no peeling or skin reactions experienced with the Chemical Peels. There suitable to use on any skin type and in all climates.

Can I use this before a Chemical Peel as a prep lotion?

Really depends on your peel choice. This can be used with our Revival peels as we do not need to lower the PH of the skin prior to these peels, however you should not use this before other peels that need to lower the skin’s PH in order to work.

Will this get rid of my pigmentation?

No, whilst the darker tone skin will appear brighter and more healthy, there will be no change to the pigmentation as this requires the product to work deeper into the skin to tackle the damaged melanin cells.
